Our head office is in Reunion. The activity of A.A.R. is therefore naturally focused on this island, which is a shrine of pure nature in its center, and a region developed to European standard on its coastal areas.

But we also propose you to develop a program made up exclusively for you in order to visit our exciting sister islands: Madagascar, Mauritius, the Seychelles and three small islands which are not well known but real gems to discover: Mayotte, Rodrigues and Mafia.

If you bring some time, lets say at least 3 weeks, we recommend you to visit more than one island, for example Reunion + one of the smaller sister islands. Madagascar is very huge and there are a huge number of experiences to be made there, so best you concentrate on one or two regions of this island if you go there. 

You generally need your passport with a validity of at least 6 months (visa on entry). For up to date information please check with the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs (or the one of your country): Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles, Mafia.

Good mosquito and sun protection is essential and a travel health insurance is recommended, ideally with the possibility of repatriation if necessary.

For all questions concerning health protection, please inquire with your physician, specialized in tropical medicine or with a competent institution, for example the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in London. This particularly concerns Madagascar and Mafia Island, on the other islands the health situation is close to that of Reunion Island, although the medical infrastructure is less developed.
