A.A.R. and it's team
Adventure Agency Reunion Island has been organizing since 17 years holidays, hiking trips and touristic visits for customers from all over the worlds on Reunion Island and on the other islands of the Indian Ocean. Our head office is located in the town of Le Tampon in the south of Reunion Island (see map below).
Hiking is our job and our passion and we know every corner of Reunion Island.
The head of the company, Mr. Christoph Kindler, guides most of the hikes and outings himself. He is a state certified hiking guide and IML (= International Mountain Leader) and has gained experience in the Alps, on Reunion Island and in many other countries during more than 30 years.Furthermore he is educated as a geophysicist and he is a volcano expert.
You can therefore rely on us if you:
- want to participate in a guided hike or trek on Reunion island only yourself, with your partner, your family, your
friends or with any other kind of group

need advice or help for your stay or for hiking on your own
- want to participate in a guided excursion or touristic visit on
the island, e.g. during of a cruise ship excursion
- want to book activities or a place to stay on another island of the Indian Ocean, in combination with Reunion Island or separately
